StoreBriefTerms of Use
These terms set the rules for using StoreBrief during Early Access and form an agreement between StoreBrief and each account holder.

1. Accepting these terms
By creating or using a StoreBrief account, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you use StoreBrief for a business, you confirm that you are authorised to act for that business and invite its team members.
2. Early Access service
StoreBrief helps owners and managers capture shift results, tasks, issues and operational performance. Early Access means the service may change as it improves. We aim to provide a dependable service but do not promise that every feature will always be available or error-free.
3. Accounts and authorised users
You must provide accurate information, protect your login and promptly remove access for people who are no longer authorised. Business owners are responsible for invitations, roles and use by their team. You must notify us through in-app Feedback if you believe an account has been compromised.
4. Your data
You and your business retain ownership of information submitted to StoreBrief. You give StoreBrief a limited permission to host, process, display and back up that information only as needed to provide, secure and improve the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have authority to submit the information.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use StoreBrief unlawfully, access another business without authorisation, attempt to bypass security, upload malicious material, interfere with the service, scrape or resell it, or use it to infringe another person’s rights. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect StoreBrief, its users or the public.
6. Operational information
StoreBrief organises information supplied by users and performs calculations from that information. It is not accounting, financial, payroll, legal, food-safety or workplace-safety advice. Owners remain responsible for checking inputs, making business decisions and meeting legal and operational obligations.
7. Trials, fees and billing
Public subscription billing is not yet open. When paid plans launch, the price, billing interval, trial conditions and cancellation process will be shown before purchase. Any additional payment terms presented at checkout will form part of these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian consumer law.
8. Suspension, cancellation and deletion
You may stop using StoreBrief at any time. Owners can request account and business-data deletion from Settings. We may suspend or end access for serious misuse, security risk or non-payment after billing launches. Where practical, we will provide reasonable notice and an opportunity to export data unless immediate action is required.
9. Availability and liability
To the extent permitted by law, StoreBrief is provided during Early Access on an “as available” basis. We are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate user inputs, decisions made without checking source records, unauthorised account use outside our reasonable control, or events beyond our reasonable control. Any guarantees, warranties or remedies required by law continue to apply.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms as the service develops and will publish the updated effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia, and disputes are subject to the courts with jurisdiction there.

These Early Access terms are a practical launch foundation, not a substitute for legal advice. They should be reviewed and updated with StoreBrief’s final operator details before paid public launch.
